There’s good news today about the opening of the NZ border to tourists and visitors from anywhere else in the world.
According to the government (read details here) the border will reopen on August 1st.
Okay, so the official date is 31 July, but that’s at 11:59 pm! So really, we’ll be seeing you on Monday 1st and we’ll have the shuttle polished and ready to collect you from the airport.
It’s not just the hospitality industry that’s excited about tourism starting again. Kiwis (that’s us New Zealanders) love to share our place with visitors. So don’t be afraid to ask a local for directions or to recommend their favourite restaurant.
